| 02/22/08 - SonnenEnergy Corp. announced that it has signed an agreement to design, supply and install photovoltaic solar power systems for The Home Depot customers in Canada. "This agreement represents a tremendous opportunity for us as we expand our operations in North America," said Sudhir Morar, President and Chief Executive Officer of SonnenEnergy. "The Home Depot is Canada's preeminent home-improvement retailer and we are delighted to be associated with such a progressive company that shares our commitment to environmentally-responsible corporate citizenship." SonnenEnergy will provide The Home Depot Canada customers with full supply, design and installation services for photovoltaic solar power systems. SonnenEnergy has existing operations in Germany and is currently expanding to take advantage of opportunities in North America. The market for photovoltaic solar power systems is being driven, in part, by initiatives designed to promote and encourage greater use of renewable energy sources. One such initiative is the Ontario Government's "Go Green" climate change strategy. The strategy, announced in June 2007, includes plans to help Ontario residents meet the Government's target of 100,000 installed residential solar systems.
