| TD Canada Trust to rock Canadians at Virgin Festival
| | TD signs up as national sponsor of Canada's biggest rock festival TORONTO, May 21 /CNW/ - Canada's most comfortable bank will become Canada's "rockin-est" bank this summer with the announcement, today, that it has signed up as a national sponsor of Virgin Festival Canada. Virgin Festival Canada has established itself as one of the top rock festivals in North America. Since the first-ever Canadian Virgin Festival launched in Toronto in September 2006, about 100,000 music lovers have lived the Virgin Festival experience. This year Virgin Festival will rock Calgary and Toronto. TD Canada Trust will sponsor the TD Music Stage at Virgin Festival Calgary (June 21, 22) and Virgin Festival Toronto (September 6, 7). Through its TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, TD will also be a major presence in the Virgin Festival Green Spot -- a designated area within the festival dedicated to raising awareness about the environment. The TD Friends of the Environment Foundation Green Zone will feature unique giveaways, environmental exhibits, and energy saving innovations such as solar powered computer stations and solar powered camera charging stations.
