An Athens, OH based insurance agency on Columbus Road just installed one of Ohio's largest solar arrays in hopes of producing a large portion of it's own electricity. Solar installers from Third Sun Solar and Wind Power braved cold snowy days in late winter to install 72 Sunpower solar modules on the south-southwest face of the agency's roof. At 16.2 kw, the system is currently one of the ten largest solar arrays in the state of Ohio, and would be enough to power 3 to 4 efficient homes.
